Privacy policy
This website
This site doesn't use cookies for visitors, doesn't keep a persistent identifier and doesn't track you across sites. To know which pages and projects people look at, it records:
The page you visit (its path, without the query string), the site you came from (only its host, like linkedin.com), whether you're on mobile or desktop, and the country.
Which sections you scroll to, which links you click and which commands you type in the terminal on the home page.
A random session id kept in your browser's session storage. It disappears when you close the tab, so it can't connect two visits.
Your IP address and your browser's user agent are not stored. The site also uses Vercel Web Analytics, which counts visits in aggregate and doesn't use cookies.
If you write to me through the contact form, your name, email and message are stored so I can answer. They're not shared with anyone, and I delete them if you ask.
The site is hosted on Vercel and its data lives in Supabase. The only cookies are the login session of the admin area, which only I use.
Tesseract
Tesseract is a desktop app for notes and tasks that I build for my own use. It can connect to a Google account to show the calendar and read email. Everything it gets from Google stays on the computer where it runs: there is no Tesseract server, and nothing is sent to me or to anyone else.
What it can access
Google Calendar:it reads the events of the calendars you own and of public calendars (like holidays), and the list of your calendars. It creates events only in a calendar of its own, called “Tesseract”, which it creates in your account; it can't change or delete any other event.
Gmail:read-only. It shows your inbox and the messages you open. It can't send, delete, label or mark anything as read.
How it uses and keeps it
To show your events and emails in the app and, when you ask for it, to create a task or a note in your own notes folder from one of them.
The permission Google grants is stored in your operating system's keychain. The app keeps a local copy of the event list and of the inbox list (without the messages' content) so it works offline. The content of an email is only kept in memory while you read it.
Google data is not sold, not used for advertising, not shared with third parties and not sent to any AI model.
Tesseract's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
How to remove it
Disconnecting in Tesseract (Settings → Google Calendar) revokes the permission and deletes the local copies. You can also revoke it from your Google account.
